Domestic Duties Done

A bit of help at home can include taking someone to the shop when they can no longer get out, collecting medicine, cooking hot meals, making a sandwich or checking tablets are taken.

Personal Needs

Carers will also be able to care for personal needs e.g. getting up in the morning, washing/bathing, getting dressed and going to bed.

 

Emotional Support

While preparing a breakfast, lunch, tea or supper the carer will often take time to sit and talk, so that the customer has some companionship during the day if you so wish. The carers can also prepare any snacks that are required during the day, and set drinks out ready. No more worrying about having a fall and struggling to cope alone.
